One week on the road. A solo trip - just me and the Jeep.
This is why I don’t sleep while I am in a plane.
From San Francisco I drove to the Eastern Sierra to meet friends and explore those parts of the country I haven’t visited before. 108 is a beautiful alternative drive through the Stanislaus National Park. So instead of taking the spectacular drive through Yosemite I drove differently and loved it.
At sunset I arrived at Mono Lake and slept at the shore of the lake. Even though there where forest fires at the time I experienced the clearest Milky Way I have ever seen.
